Tuesday’s Forecast

Another warm, dry, and breezy day is in store. After starting out the day on the cool side, temperatures will warm quickly under mostly sunny skies. Highs will likely be near 90 degrees in Lubbock. Along with the heat, gusty winds will enter the forecast on Tuesday afternoon. Gusts over 30 mph could lead to patchy areas of blowing dust, especially outside of the city.

The Southwestern South Plains hs been placed under a 'Fire Weatehr Watch' due to high fire dangers on Tueday afternoon. This watch could be upgraded to a Red Flag Warning during the day Tuesday.
