Texas Tech Hosts Big XII Business Case Competition

WHAT:           The Big XII Conference MBA Case Competition

WHEN:           April 5-6

WHERE:         Texas Tech Rawls College of Business, 703 Flint Ave.

EVENT:          The Rawls College of Business will host the seventh annual Big XII case competition.

MBA students are given a case and present their strategy within 24 hours to a panel of business leaders. Each team consists of four MBA students from schools in the Big XII.

The competition judges act as board of directors of the case company and teams are considered outside consultants. Teams are expected to define and analyze the issues, and present and justify a plan of action.

Teams will be judged on the quality of their analysis, recommendations and presentation. All teams will present in the preliminary round and the top three teams make it to the final round. The top three teams are awarded a cash prize, and individual prizes for best presenter and best Q&A will be presented.
