The National
Okay, so this is kind of cool, but mostly just weird. Regardless, I thought it was worth mentioning. KTXT recently added a song by The National entitled, “Don’t Swallow The Cap” off of their upcoming album, “Trouble Will Find Me”, set to be released on May 21 via 4AD.
The band has announced that they will perform a song of theirs for six hours straight at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Oh that sounds awesome, a six-hour set at a museum! No. They are playing their song, “Sorrow”, over and over for six straight hours. It will be a really cool piece of art but will most likely be torturous for both them and whoever decides to stay for the whole thing.
