Texas Tech Hosts “Chew on This” Agriculture Tour

WHAT: Agriculture tour promoting production with use of technology

WHEN: 11-3 p.m. Friday (April 26)

WHERE: Texas Tech Livestock Arena parking lot, on the corner of Knoxville Avenue and 18th Street

EVENT: Chew on This, an interactive road show aimed to raise awareness of world hunger, makes a stop at Texas Tech University.

With a growing population, world hunger is becoming a larger issue. This tour promotes the need to increase production of crops and livestock using technology.

Former NFL lineman and champion wrestler, Bill Goldberg, is the tour’s spokesman and is available to answer questions about world hunger and sustainable food production. Nutra Blend, a micro-ingredients distributor, and Elanco, an animal health product developer, are co-sponsors of this event.

The free event is open to the public and lunch will be provided to those who attend.
