A weak cold front will enter the South Plains late Sunday night, bringing a brief shot of cooler air, before falling apart on Monday. Due to the weak nature of this cold front, it appears that temperatures will still be able to make it up to near 80 in Lubbock Monday afternoon.
Before then, it will be chilly as you head out on Monday morning, with temps in the 40’s, to near 50, and a noticeable breeze. You may need a jacket before temps begin to rise by mid morning.
No precipitation is expected through Monday night,as mostly sunny skies rule the forecast. Winds will be out of the southwest 10-20 mph during the afternoon.
Get out and enjoy the great weather,
Cutter Martin
