New Deer Tick album entitled, “Negativity”

Providence, Rhode Island natives, Deer Tick have been working on a new album entitled, “Negativity”

One of my favorite bands, Deer Tick, has been working on a new record in Portland, OR set to be released in late summer or early fall.  The album is entitled, “Negativity” and is supposedly much darker than their last release, “Divine Providence”.  The band worked with former Los Lobos member Steve Berlin, with 12 songs rumored to be included on the album.  Lead singer, John McCauley described the record as, “War Elephant’s evil step-brother”.  For those who live under a rock or any other geological figure, “War Elephant” was the band’s critically acclaimed first album released in 2008 on Partisan Records.  Click the link below to hear “Dirty Dishes”, one of my favorite tracks from “War Elephant”.
