Wednesday morning will be quite a shock to the system, after all of the mild weather the South Plains has experienced over the past week. Temperatures will be in the 20s for a good chunk of the South Plains! The effects of Monday evening’s cold front will start fading away by Wednesday afternoon, as high temperatures attempt to reach the 60° mark. Warmer weather is then expected for Thursday and Friday, along with increasing winds, ahead of a weekend storm system that could bring rain and high winds to west Texas.
