The windy conditions across the South Plains on Saturday afternoon will carry over into Saturday night and through Sunday, thanks to a secondary cold front that will move through the South Plains Saturday night. Temperatures behind this front will drop drastically, as winds remain sustained in the 20-30 mph range; gusts over 40 mph.
However, it will be a quick shot of cold air, as temperatures will begin to warm on Monday, after a cold morning. Highs will be back in the 70’s on Tuesday, with an extended period of great Spring Break weather just beyond Tuesday.
