Weekend Outlook

This weekend will feature active weather across the South Plains. Saturday looks to be a great day to get outdoors and enjoy the warm weather. However, storms may develop across the eastern South Plains Saturday evening. Similar to Friday, any storms that do develop will be capable of producing large hail and damaging winds.

A cold front will move through the area Sunday morning. At this time, it appears that the best chance for storms along this front will be across the northeastern South Plains, where severe weather is possible. Any rain that manages to develop will move east by midday Sunday, leaving behind cooler temperatures and gusty winds through Sunday evening.
