Sunday
Hi 48
Lo 24
* Windy early, COLD!
An unseasonably cold air mass is settling into the South Plains, following cold front that brought severe winds and blowing dust to the area on Saturday evening. Sunday morning will be bone-chilling, with temperatures in the teens and 20’s across most of the South Plains. If actual readings aren’t cold enough, factor in a gusty north breeze and wind chills could bottom out in the single digits!
High temperatures on Sunday will be in the 40’s as wind slowly weaken through the afternoon. Another approaching storm system could bring a quick round of cloud cover and the possibility of a few snow flurries, late Sunday night into Monday morning.
Stay warm,
Cutter Martin
