A cold front will usher in another round of colder temperatures, beginning Wednesday morning. Strong northerly winds on Wednesday will make the already chilly weather feel even colder. In fact, wind chills on Wednesday morning could be in the single digits and lowers teens across a good portions of the South Plains.

A disturbance associated with this cold front will also bring in a few clouds to begin Wednesday, before clearing by mid-day. Thursday will be cool as well, with highs staying well below average under mostly sunny skies and lighter winds.

Friday’s forecast becomes more interesting as yet another storm sytem moves in from the northwest. There won’t be much moisture to work with and the system will be weakening as it move over our region. Because of these factors, only a few sprinkles or flurries are expected on Friday. At this time, no accumulations are anticipted.

Have a great Wednesday,

Cutter Martin (KTXT Weather)
