It is going to be a wonderful weekend to get outdoors and enjoy what the South Plains has to offer. Saturday’s high temperatures will be nearly ten degrees above average, with Lubbock reaching a high of 65 degrees. Other than a few high cloud, skies will remain mostly clear through the weekend. Winds will be breezy during the day on Saturday, though calm condition should set in by mid evening.
Sunday morning will be chilly, with lows in the lower 20’s! A strong cold front will also impact the region mid- Sunday afternoon, ushering in a much cooler air-mass and cloud-cover. Highs will reach the 60 degree mark on Sunday; with temperatures holding steady, or slowly falling by early evening. Prepare for a much cooler and breezy Sunday night and Monday.
