After a variety of weather on Tuesday, Wednesday’s forecast features much calmer conditions. Wednesday morning will still begin very cold, with temperatures in Lubbock around 20°. Though, it will warm quickly through the day, approaching the afternoon high of near 50° by mid-afternoon. Skies will be mostly clear as northwesterly winds diminish to 10-15 mph through the day. The wind could cause problems in the morning, as it produces wind chills in the lower teens. Though by afternoon, temperatures will be much warmer; under ample sunshine. Even though you may still need a jacket during the day; it should feel fairly comfortable as you head out and about.
Wednesday evening will be cold. Temperatures will fall quickly after sunset; into the upper 30’s after dinner and bottoming out in the mid 20’s on Thursday morning.
