After clouds, flurries, and continued cold weather on Tuesday; Wednesday will feature more sun and warmer temperatures. However, Wednesday morning will still be very cold. Upper teens are expected for those heading to 8 AM classes. If clouds fail to move in to the South Plains, temperatures could top out in the upper 40’s. Though, if it remains cloudy, afternoon highs in the lower 40’s will occur. Winds will be NW 10-20 mph as a weak cold front moves into the area from the north.
Wednesday night will be cold, though Lubbock may not fall below the 20 degree mark on Thursday morning, for the first time in a few days.
Have a great first day of Spring semester,
Cutter Martin (KTXT Weather)
