Thursday morning will be very cold, with temperatures around 20° in Lubbock to start the day. Winds near 10 mph will knock wind chills down into the teens; making it feel even colder outside. Though skies will be clear; allowing temperatures to warm quickly through the day. Highs will approach the 60° in Lubbock by mid-afternoon. Conditions will again cool Thursday evening, though Friday morning will not be as cold as Thursday’s.

Comfortable conditions look to continue for the next several days as cool temperatures continue to moderate towards above average values. Another weak cold front will move through the area on Saturday, with no precipitations and only a minor drop in temperatures behind it.
