Monday’s weather will be a carbon- copy of Sunday’s conditions. Temperatures will again start out mild; likely in the mid to upper 40’s in Lubbock. As we head into mid-morning, temperatures will quickly warm into the 60’s; under mostly sunny skies and strengthening winds.
By afternoon, Most locations across the South Plains will be in the mid 70’s, under continued sunny skies. Winds however, will be much stronger by early evening. Gusts could top 35 mph, which will easily kick-up some blowing dusts, similar to Sunday afternoon.
A cool front will move into the area very early Tuesday morning, ending the streak of mild weather that we have all grown accustomed to!
