A woman has been sentenced to prison time after pleading guilty to intoxicated manslaughter. 23-year-old Jeena Roberts received two concurrent sentences after admitting to rear-ending the car of 54-year-old Linda Smaltz while driving drunk in 2010.
Roberts was driving at high speeds at the time of the crash. The judge sentenced her for 15 years in prison for intoxicated manslaughter and 8 years for intoxicated assault. She must serve half of her sentence before becoming eligible for parole.
