Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
As you’ve probably noticed, a much cooler & drier air-mass has invaded the South Plains. While not as cool as I originally thought it would be a week ago, this cool front is still packing a decent little punch. Lows tonight should bottom out in the mid 20’s in Lubbock with temperatures rebounding to an afternoon high in the lower to middle 60’s on Saturday. Skies will be clear and winds will be light through through Saturday, with temperatures falling to a more tolerable 37° by Sunday morning.
I still expect another cold front to arrive later in the day on Monday. This cold front will also not be as strong as originally though, it’ll basically be a repeat on today and Saturday’s whether by the middle of next week. there are still some signs that we may be gradually shifting into a more active, colder pattern as we head into December. Hopefully so, considering we’re behind in rainfall, and above average temperature wise.
