Weather for Monday 11/26/12

A cooler air-mass will continue to invade the South Plains Monday morning, after a cold frontal passage on late Sunday Night. Temperatures will top-out in the mid 50’s across Lubbock under sunny skies and breezy northwesterly winds (10-25 mph) eventually shifting to the northeast by late afternoon. Monday Night will be a cold one with temperatures falling into the mid 20’s (at-least) by Tuesday morning. At this point, I feel that temperatures could easily fall into the lower 20’s tomorrow (Monday) night, depending on how low the dew points are and if the winds stay up through the night. I will discuss more about this hard freeze in tomorrow’s update.
