TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY – I’m Natasha Goushey here on KTXT. Its that time of year again where the weather stats to warm up and the flowers begin to bloom. Many are looking forward to creating that perfect garden but a certain group is anticipating a break. College students around the US are patiently waiting for Spring Break, the time to relax and get away. Certain Tech students are heading away for the break while others plan to stay at home to enjoy their time off.
STUDENT 1: “I’m going to Houston Texas to visit my family but also to attend a christening.”
STUDENT 2: “I plan to be dancing on the high seas. I’m going to be on a cruise so I’m pretty much going to be living in the club having a lot of fun and meeting new people. I’m going to be in the Bahamas and the Florida Keys. So I’ll be in the clubs, dancing, meeting people and having fun.”
STUDENT 3: “You know my friend invited me to go to South Padre Island but I’m going to go home, pop some popcorn, and watch Dragon Ball Z all day, everyday.”
STUDENT 4: “For Spring Break I am actually flying to Germany. I am an original native there. My family, the Zweibrecht family, I have a grandmother that lives in Dusseldorf. So me and my best friend are going to go to Germany for a week and a half. We are going o visit Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin and most of East Germany, eat some good German cuisine and defiantly shoot for the schnitzel and eat sauerkraut.”
Whether you take a vacation or spend your break at home just remember to enjoy yourself, relax and have fun. I’m Natasha Goushey here on the Raider KTXT 88.1.
